Clach na h-Iobairt

Clach na h-Iobairt (also known as Clach na h-Iobairte , Pitagown or Pitagowan ) is a menhir near the House of Bruar between the A9 and B8079 roads in Pitagown, west of Blair Atholl near Pitlochry in Perth and Kinross in Scotland .

The Pitagown stone , also known as the sacrificial stone , is 1.5 m high, 1.1 m wide, 0.4 m thick and undecorated. In 2011 a preventive partial excavation was carried out in a field directly east of the stone. In the process, pits were discovered and partially excavated. A burnt stone and ceramic bell jar came to light.

A stone of the same name (also called Bridge Of Tilt ) is in Blair Atholl's trailer park . In the vicinity of Pitagown stands the presumably unfinished Struan, a Pictish symbol stone of class I.
