Clare Colvin
Clare Colvin (* in London ) is an English journalist and writer.
Life
Colvin is the daughter of the English journalist Ian Colvin . She was born in London, but spent almost all of her childhood and youth abroad. Her father, who worked as a foreign correspondent in many countries, always lived there with his family.
Colvin lived in South Africa during apartheid and later u. a. in Lebanon and Morocco . At the American University in Beirut Colvin studied a. a. English literature . She then returned to London and got a job at André Deutsch's publishing house .
In addition, Colvin began to write for various newspapers and magazines. She worked as a literary critic for the Daily Mail and The Independent , and later as a theater critic for the Times . In addition, over the years a small literary work was created that was much praised by both the public and the critics.
