The Clarity Point is a headland on the north coast of South Georgia . It is located on the east bank of Blue Whale Harbor .
British Discovery Investigations participants mapped and named the headland a Clear Point in 1930 . However, in order to avoid confusion with the Clear Point at Leith Harbor , the UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee decided in 1991 to rename it to its current form.
