Clark Adams
Clark Adams (born July 23, 1969 in Louisville , Kentucky , † May 21, 2007 ) was an American free thinker and atheist .
Life
Adams was raised Catholic at first, but discovered contradictions in Christian doctrine early on. The publications of the American Atheists were formative for him . He cultivated friendships with leading atheists in the country. He became the moderator of the newsgroup alt.atheism.moderated and organized meetings of free thinkers. He was also a member of Internet Infidels , for which he held leading positions. He was an active advocate for the Secular Student Alliance . He was a co-founder of the Secular Coalition for America . Shortly before his untimely death, he became a member of the American Humanist Association .
