Clarke Island is the third largest and southernmost island of the Furneaux Group in the Bass Strait between the Australian state of Victoria and the island of Tasmania, the main island of the Australian state of the same name . The highest point at 206 meters is near the northwest coast.

It is located immediately south of Cape Barren Island . To the east of Clarke Island are the smaller islands of Forsyth Island about 6 km away and Passage Island about 8 km away. To the west are several smaller islands, the largest of which is Spike Island with a length of approx. 300 m. The island is administratively part of the Flinders Municipality of the state of Tasmania. Only 6 people live on Clarke Island.
