Classé Audio is a Canadian manufacturer of high quality audio electronics for stereo and multi-channel systems . The product range is located in the upper price segment. In addition to preamplifiers and power amplifiers, it also includes CD and DVD players .

The company was founded in the early 1980s by David Reich in Lachine , a suburb of Montreal . The management, development and production are still located here today. Classé has been part of the B&W Group , which is based in Great Britain, since 2001 .

In October 2005, the company announced that Abbey Road Studios in London had ordered a total of 33 CA-M400 mono power amplifiers. Ten devices each are used in Studio 3 and in the penthouse studio together with speakers from B&W .
