Claudio D'Alessio

Claudio D'Alessio (born May 24, 1961 in Pompei ) is an Italian lawyer and local politician.

D'Alessio studied law at the University of Naples Federico II . After successfully completing his degree, he worked as a lawyer from 1993. For the Partito Popolare Italiano , D'Alessio was elected to the city council of his home municipality Pompei in 1999. In the mayoral elections in 2004 he ran as a candidate for a center-left alliance, in the runoff election he achieved a clear majority with 69.9%. Claudio D'Alessio is considered to be moderate and striving to achieve a balance; he won the 2009 election with 67% in the first ballot.
