Claudio Invernizzi

Claudio Invernizzi (born January 2, 1957 in Montevideo , Uruguay) is a Uruguayan writer and advertiser.

Invernizzi was the creative director of Viveversa / Young & Rubicam and has received awards at the New York Festival, the Ibero-American Festival of Advertising and the Clio Awards , among others . He began his journalistic activity in 1984 for the weekly newspaper Jaque and later worked for various newspapers in Germany and abroad. His literary works include Esta empecinada flor-Relatos de la cárcel and the novel La pulseada . For the latter he received the Second Prize of the Intendencia Municipal of Montevideo in the category of unpublished stories and the Premio Bartolomé Hidalgo . His story La indiscretión de Alda is part of the 1996 anthology La cara oculta de la luna . Invernizzi was also a lecturer in communication studies at the Universidad de la República . In January 2009 he became director of Televisión Nacional Uruguay (TNU).
