Miguel Ángel Campodónico (* 1937 in Montevideo , Uruguay) is a Uruguayan journalist and writer .

Campodónico appeared both as an author of non-fiction and as a novelist. He has also written several books on people from the Uruguayan political spectrum. His book about the future Uruguayan President José Mujica was published in 1999 when he was elected to the Senate for the Frente Amplio . With Antes del Silencio he addressed Juan María Bordaberry and Las vidas de Rosencof dealt with the politician Rosencof.

Awards

On the part of the B'nai B'rith he received the Premio Fraternidad in 1986 , a year later and again in 1990 he was awarded the Premio Municipal . In 2001 the Cámara Uruguaya del Libro awarded him the Bronze Book ( Libro de Bronce ).
