Claus Bliefert is a German chemist and author .

Life

Bliefert studied chemistry and was 1971 at the Saarland University with a dissertation studies on the development of ENT by decomposition of the sodium salt of Benzolsulfhydroxamsäure to Dr. rer. nat. received his doctorate . From 1973 he was professor for chemistry at the University of Applied Sciences in Münster . In 1994 he became head of the laboratory for environmental chemistry there . Together with Hans Friedrich Ebel he wrote several books.
