Hans Friedrich Ebel

Hans Friedrich Ebel (born March 10, 1933 ) is a German chemist , lecturer and author . For many years he was editor-in-chief and authorized signatory at Wiley-VCH Verlag .

Life

Hans Friedrich Ebel studied chemistry from 1952 to 1958 at the Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen ( diploma ). In 1960 he was at Georg Wittig at the Ruprecht-Karls-University of Heidelberg with a dissertation for the formation of the way dehydrobenzene from mercury organic derivatives of benzene to Dr. rer. nat. PhD . In the 1960s, he was a research assistant at the Institute of Organic Chemistry. In 1967 he completed his habilitation in organic chemistry at the University of Heidelberg with a thesis on configurations and stability of carbanions and carbanionoid compounds . From 1969 he worked as an editor at Wiley-VCH Verlag . From 1972 to 1992 he was chief editor and authorized signatory there. From 1992 to 1994 Ebel was the publishing director for life sciences and pharmacy.
