Clausius (unit)
The Clausius ( unit symbol : Cl ) is an outdated and (since 1978 ) no longer legal unit of entropy . It is named after the discoverer of entropy, the German physicist Rudolf Julius Emanuel Clausius .
1 Cl = 1 cal / degree = 4.1868 Joule / Kelvin (J / K)
Depending on the underlying definition of the calorie , the Clausius also had a different value in SI units .
