Send Clemens Droste

Clemens August Freiherr Droste zu Senden ( February 2, 1821 ; † May 7, 1875 at Schloss Senden ) was a German manor owner and politician from the noble family Droste zu Senden .

Droste zu Senden was the son of baron Maximilian Friedrich Edmund Droste zu Senden (1777–1847) and his wife Maria Therese von Weichs-Körtlinghausen. The father had also been a member of the Westphalian Provincial Parliament. Droste zu Senden, who was a Catholic denomination, married Maria Freiin von Fürstenberg on July 21, 1853 (* December 24, 1831). The marriage resulted in eight children, including the eldest son Adolph (born May 21, 1860).

Droste zu Senden was the owner of the manor at Schloss Senden. In 1852 and 1854 he took part in the Provincial Parliament of the Province of Westphalia as a representative of the Füsten zu Rheina-Wolbeck . In 1861 (as deputy) and 1868 to 1873 he was an elected member of the provincial parliament for the status of knighthood in the Münster-Ost constituency.
