Clemens Reinders

Clemens Reinders (* 1962 in Haldern ) is a German writer and filmmaker.

Clemens Reinders studied film and photography from 1982 to 1989 at the Art Academy in Münster and social sciences at the Westphalian Wilhelms University . In 1988 he received a sponsorship award at the German-speaking short film competition for his contribution “The Clarification at Court” at the Münster Film Festival. From the 1990s, Reinders worked as a freelance writer and, as a commissioned producer for the WDR, created short film series, a. a. on local historical topics. In 1991 he shot the film "Wo die Linden rauschen" about his place of birth in cooperation with WDR. In 2000 he published his first book with local history reports on the Lower Rhine . Reinders now works as a teacher.
