Clemente Canepari

Clemente Canepari (born November 11, 1886 in Pieve Porto Morone ; † September 13, 1966 in San Colombano al Lambro ) was an Italian cyclist from 1909 to 1927 .

His first success was winning the Tre Coppe Parabiago in 1908. In the following year he reached fourth place in the overall ranking of the Giro d'Italia . A year later he reached seventh place overall at the 1910 Giro d'Italia . In 1911 Canepari emerged as the winner of the Giro dell'Emilia . At the Giro d'Italia 1913 he won the seventh stage. He finished fourth overall at the Giro d'Italia in 1914 and 1919. Two years later he reached eighth rank.

During his career Canepari was under contract with the cycling teams Legnano , Otay - Pirelli, JB Louvet - Continental and Stucchi.
