Clesly Evandro Guimarães , called Kelly , (born April 28, 1975 in Barra Bonita , São Paulo , Brazil ) is a former Brazilian soccer player.

Career

Clesy began his career in 1994 with the Brazilian club CA Bragantino , where he was active for three years. In the first year he took part in ten league games in which he did not score a goal. His best year at the club was 1995, when he played 22 games and had eleven goals at the end of the season. In the last year 1996 he played 21 games and scored eight goals. During the three years at the club he was on the field 53 times and scored 19 goals. The 1996/97 season he spent at the CD Logroñés club and played twelve games, with a pass he set in goal. After a year in Spain , he went back to a Brazilian club, Flamengo Rio de Janeiro , where he took part in two games in 1997, which remained goalless.

From 1998 to 2000 he played for the Atletico Paranaense club . In the first year he completed twelve games in which he scored one goal. His highest goal-scoring year at the club was 1999, where he played 20 league games. The following year he took part in 21 league games, this year he could show seven goals. Last year he was involved in most of the games in his career to date. Compared to last year, however, he was only able to score two goals. After three years, 53 games and ten goals scored, he left his club and turned his back on Brazil for four years to play in Japan.

From 2001 to 2004 he played for FC Tokyo in league games, the Kaiser Cup (with the exception of 2002) and the J. League Cup . He played 26 games in his first year and scored nine goals. In 2002 he took part in 29 league games. In the 29 games he was able to achieve eight goals. The next year he participated in 27 games and scored eight goals. The last year there was his weakest (15 games, four goals). During the four years he took part in 97 league games and scored 30 goals.
