Click Popularity , ( English for "click popularity") is a term from the search engine marketing . Click Popularity is a ranking system (system for determining the ranking of results ) in search engines that evaluates the click behavior of searching users. The aim is to incorporate user behavior into the ranking in order to improve the relevance of the search results.

Most search engine providers measure click popularity. However, it is not known whether or to what extent it is included in the overall algorithm.

As a criterion that can be influenced from outside, Click Popularity is susceptible to manipulation.
