Clicker Heroes 2 (or Clicker Heroes II ) is a clicker game developed by Playsaurus and the sequel to Clicker Heroes . The game was released for Windows and macOS in July 2018 .

Game principle and technology

In Clicker Heroes 2 you can choose a hero at the beginning and make him better by leveling up. There are currently two heroes named Cid and The Cursed Wizard . In the beta phase, however, there is only Cid to choose from. You can buy the hero certain items (sword, helmet, shoes, etc.) through which he becomes stronger. In addition, this gives the hero certain skills. In contrast to the first part, it is no longer possible to click continuously in the second part, because you have an energy display with which you only have a certain number of clicks available. The energy display recharges by one meter every second. There is also mana, which is used to use some skills. This charges up much more slowly than the energy. The game is divided into worlds. Each world has 100 levels and at the end of each world a boss has to be defeated.

Microtransactions

In contrast to Clicker Heroes , Playsaurus does not use microtransactions in Clicker Heroes 2. The team described the reasons for this on the official blog. By foregoing microtransactions, Playsaurus does not want to pull vulnerable players off the table. With this statement, the team refers to the first part, which was playable as a free-to-play game. In this, players have spent huge sums of money in the shop. For this reason, Clicker Heroes 2 is not a free-to-play microtransaction game.

On July 16, 2018, Clicker Heroes 2 was released on Steam . The game has been available for pre-order since November 20, 2017. The Clicker Heroes 2 trailer was released on September 22, 2017. The game is the sequel to Clicker Heroes .
