Clinton Edward Dawkins

Sir Clinton Edward Dawkins ( 1859 - December 2, 1905 ) was a British politician.

After graduating from Oxford , Dawkins held various positions in British politics and administrative positions in the colonies. In 1895 he became Undersecretary of State for Finance in Egypt . He was also a founding member of the National Service League .

For his services in administration, he was made Companion in 1901 , and then a year later Knight Commander of the Most Honorable Order of the Bath (KCB).

He was a great-great-uncle of evolutionary biologist Richard Dawkins .
