Clippatendorpe

The place Clippatendorpe is a desert in today's district of Mecklenburg Lake District in southern Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania .

Traditional

The village of Clippatendorpe was first mentioned in 1338. The place was near Zislow on the Plauer See , although the exact location and the reason for the abandonment of this settlement are not known.

Place name

The place name has an old Slavic origin and denotes a family or clan name ( Chlypat ).
