cmv Laser Vision is a German Independent - DVD label based in Berlin .
history
In March 1998 Andreas Strassmann acquired the naming rights for the cmv-Audiovision label .
Initially, the label's primary focus was on releasing horror films on laser discs . The editions of these were limited and aimed at collectors. Since this medium was not commercially successful, production was discontinued after only five titles.
Since then, since the beginning of 2002, cmv-Laservision has dedicated itself to the commercial exploitation of license rights on the DVD medium . In addition to feature films, classics and cult films , the program also includes the special interest area. In addition, between September 2001 and January 2002 a 6-part soundtrack series of Italian genre films was published in a small edition of 500 copies each.
