Singapore Sling is a Greek feature film that was released in 1990. The film is about a detective by the name of the Singapore Sling who is searching for his recently missing wife. The story is loosely based on the film noir Laura by Otto Preminger .

action

A detective who calls himself the Singapore Sling searches for Laura, his lost lover. During his search on a rainy night, he meets a mother who lives with her daughter in a remote house. There, Singapore Sling is driven almost insane by the two demonic women through perverted games.

criticism

The lexicon of international films judged that the film used "the stylistic devices of the genre to whisk you away into the world of film noir", but developed "but increasingly morbid and erotic stylistic elements designed to break taboos". In doing so, "it crosses the boundaries of good taste and presents itself as an echo of the 'Greek tragedy' full of perversities and fetishes".
