The Coalsack Bluff ( English for Kohlensackklippe ) is a small cliff in the Antarctic Ross Dependency . In the Colbert Hills it rises 10 km west-northwest of the Bauhs-Nunatak on the northern edge of the Walcott-Firnfeld .
Participants in a campaign from 1961 to 1962 as part of the New Zealand Geological Survey Antarctic Expedition named it after the coal fringing that runs through the rocks of the cliff.
