Codex Ambosianus A 147

The Codex Ambrosianus A 147 Inf. (F after Rahlfs ) is a manuscript in Greek from the early 5th century. It contains parts of the books from Genesis to Joshua of the Old Testament in the Septuagint version. 312 sheets of very good and fine parchment have been preserved. These are described in large capital letters in three columns with 35 lines each. Extensive italic annotations were added in the 11th century.

The manuscript probably came into the possession of Cardinal Federico Borromeo from Corfu in the early 17th century . This brought them to the Biblioteca Ambrosiana in Milan, which he founded . There it is today with the signature A 147 inf.
