Codex Taurinensis B. II. 1

The Codex Taurinensis (Siglum Y, No. 719 according to Rahlfs ) is a parchment manuscript from the 9th or 10th century. It contains the text of the twelve minor prophets of the Bible in Greek . The manuscript is damaged and consists of 135 sheets. The text has many gaps ( lacunae ) and is difficult to read. It is introduced by the Proemium in XII Prophetas by Theodoret and contains notes from his Commentarii in the margin.

The manuscript was damaged by fire in the palace of the Princes of Savoy at the end of the 17th century . In 1720 it was given to the University of Turin by Viktor Amadeus II . The manuscript is now in the Biblioteca Nazionale Universitaria in Turin, call number B.II.1.
