Cody Cooke (born March 2, 1993 in Truro ) is an English football player who is under contract with Weymouth FC .
Career
Cody Cooke was born in Truro , Cornwall . Until 2011 he played in the youth of Penryn Athletic. From August 2011, the striker was active in non-league football for Truro City in his hometown . During the summer break of 2018 he played at Jamie Vardy's V9 Academy , which aims to bring talented amateur players to professional football. In June 2018 he signed a two-year contract with the Scottish first division club FC St. Mirren . Cooke made his professional debut a month later in the Scottish League Cup against Kilmarnock FC when he was substituted on for Cammy Smith .
