College of Engineering Pune

The College of Engineering, Pune (COEP) is an independent college in the Indian city ​​of Pune that is affiliated to the University of Pune .

Founded in 1854, it is the third oldest engineering school in Asia , after the College of Engineering Guindy (1794) and the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (1847). The students and graduates of the College of Engineering Pune are colloquially referred to as COEPians. The college's study model was known as the "Poona Model" in the early 1950s.
