Com Truise (actually Seth Haley ) is an American electronic music musician from Oneida, New York . His stage name is a spoonerism by Tom Cruise . He also appears as a live act and DJ . He used to produce electronic music under the pseudonyms Sarin Sunday , SYSTM , and Airliner .

His musical work is strongly influenced by styles from the 1980s and can be ascribed to the genres Synthwave and Retrowave. A first EP was released in June 2010 via Amdiscs under the title Cyanide Sisters as a free download. Shortly thereafter, one of his remixes found use on the album Tron: Legacy Reconfigured . His first album, Galactic Melt, followed in June 2011 . His second album In Decay was released in July 2012, his third iteration in June 2017; all on the independent label Ghostly International .

Before starting his musical career, Truise was an art director by profession , so he designed his musical publications including merchandise extensively himself. Like the music, its appearance is strongly influenced by the 1980s. In addition to CDs and downloads, mainly records and sometimes compact cassettes are used as sound carriers .
