Since the end of the 1990s, the children's comics have disappeared from the novelty offer, which is now determined by series aimed at young people and adult readers ( Ten Commandments , Tramp , Quintet , The Secret Triangle, etc.). Many German-speaking authors, such as Ronald Putzker , Martin Frei , Matthias Schultheiss and Franz Zumstein, were also published by comicplus +. In 2012 the publishing house took on the new edition of the classic Winnetou by Helmut Nickel .

In addition, several secondary volumes were published by comicplus +, including the documentation Deutschsprachige Comic-Fachpresse , with an introduction to the emergence of the German comics scene. Since 2005, Eckart Sackmann has devoted himself to researching comics in German-speaking countries with the annual scientific book series Deutsche Comicforschung (on the Internet at www.comicforschung.de, www.patrimonium.de).

The magazine RRAAH was also published by Verlag Sackmann und Hörndl from 1987 to 2001 ! , the leading German comic journal at the time, and since 2005 the free Comics Info .

The volume Die Comics mit der Plus + , published for the 25th anniversary in 2010, offers an overview of the publishing history .
