Commentarii Mathematici Helvetici

The Commentarii Mathematici Helvetici (CMH) is a peer-reviewed mathematics journal from the Swiss Mathematical Society . It appears quarterly from 1929.

The journal has an international reputation, where important works by Heinz Hopf ( theorem of Hopf-Rinow 1931), Michel Kervaire , René Thom (Kobordism theory 1954), Eduard Stiefel , Beno Eckmann and Jean-Pierre Serre on topology were published.

The editors were Rudolf Fueter from 1929 to 1949, Johann Jakob Burckhardt from 1950 to 1981 , Pierre Gabriel from 1982 to 1989 , Hanspeter Kraft from 1990 to 2005 and Eva Bayer-Fluckiger from 2006 .

It is published by the European Mathematical Society with the support of the Swiss Academy of Natural Sciences and the Foundation for the Promotion of Mathematical Sciences in Switzerland.

Contributions that are more than five years old are accessible online. The articles appear in English or French.
