Compact Gray (born August 4, 1981 in Freital ; maiden name Mirko Labecki ) is a German disc jockey (DJ), music producer and label operator in the techno and house sector .

Life

Compact Gray started his career in 2005 with his first DJ appearances and his work as a booking agent for the newly founded DJ and artist agency Top Ten Artist. In 2008 the music label Top Ten Music released its first remix for DJ Steffi and Daryll Pandy's “Keep Your Head To The Sky”. In 2009 Compact Grey's first single "The Game" was released on Christian Fischer's music label Definition Records. A year later he produced various singles together with ZER , which were released on Klang Gymnastik, BRB Digital, Mooose Records and Top Ten Music. Among them was the title " Summer Spirit ", the official anthem for the 2010 music festival of the same name. In 2010 Compact Gray parted ways with Top Ten Artist / Top Ten Music and switched to the label management of Stereofunks Imprint Klang Gymnastik. In the following years, further techno and house productions were made, as well as various remixes on various labels and with various partners, including Beatamines and Stereofunk. In 2011 he founded his own label "Gris Musique" for mainly his own productions on record and digital. In the same year he mixed the festival compilation "Stereo City" for the festival of the same name in Ferropolis . The fourth single from the label Gris Musique from 2012 reached # 11 on the Beatport Tech House Charts with a remix by Ron Costa .
