Order of Concord

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Order of Concord was founded by Prince Primate and Grand Duke of Frankfurt Karl Theodor von Dalberg on February 5, 1813 as a civil and military order.

Order classes

The order consisted of three classes and the number of living members was limited:

Order decoration

The sign of the order is a golden eight-pointed cross, in the medallion of which you can see on the front over two crossing, tied palm branches, two hands coming out of clouds, united in rays of the sun, over which CONCORDIA stands. The reverse shows the crowned coat of arms of the Grand Duchy lying on an ermine coat.

The ribbon is white with pouncer-red side stripes and a small white border.

Awards

Due to the short existence of the order, there were only a few awards. Eighteen awards of the Grand Cross, twenty of the commander class and 25 of the knight class can be documented. The owner of the Grand Cross was, for example, the Minister Franz Joseph von Albini .
