The Condat Aktiengesellschaft is a medium-sized German software and IT services company with headquarters in Berlin .
Condat was founded in 1979 as a GmbH. It changed its name to Condat AG in 1999 and went public in July 2000. In June 2002 Texas Instruments bought Condat AG in order to bring its software development for mobile phones under its own direction. This sale was coupled with a buyback of the other business areas by Condat Informationssysteme AG, which was newly founded by the original owners of Condat and is not publicly traded .
Today, Condat AG is a different company than in 2002 and focuses on software solutions and services in the areas of media (AI-based content discovery solutions, content management applications) and healthcare (portal solutions for the digitization of non-clinical business processes ) and public administration (high-load portals and specialist applications).
As a result of a merger between Condat AG and HFC inter.net GmbH, Condat AG has been operating a location in Cloppenburg in addition to its headquarters in Berlin since 2018.
