The Confederação Brasileira de Badminton (CBBd) is the top national administrative organization in the sport of badminton in Brazil .
history
The association, based in Campinas , was founded in 1993 and shortly thereafter became a member of the Badminton World Federation . The association also became a member of the continental umbrella organization Badminton Pan Am . The country's open championships have been held since 1984. There have been national championships since 1991. The association's headquarters are in Campinas. The association is a member of the National Olympic Committee.
