The National Confederation of Peasant, Indigenous and Black Organizations ( Confederación Nacional de Organizaciones Campesinas, Indígenas y Negras , FENOCIN) is an organization in Ecuador that represents the interests of these groups. It was founded in 1965 by the Ecuadorian Confederation of Catholic Workers ( Confederación Ecuatoriana de Obreros Católicos , CEDOC ) as the Federation of Agricultural Workers ( Federación de Trabajadores Agropecuarios , FETAP) and renamed the National Federation of Peasant Organizations (FENOC) in 1968 . In 1988 the name of the organization was expanded to include indigenous people in FENOC-I and in 1997 to include blacks ( Negros ) in FENOCIN. Finally in 1999 the organization called itself the National Confederation of Peasant, Indigenous and Black Organizations . It unites 52 sub-organizations with a total of more than 1,300 base groups, to which 200,000 families in 18 provinces belong.

FENOCIN is close to the Socialist Party , through which it is also represented in the National Assembly, and is a member of the global farmers' organization Vía Campesina .
