The Conjunto Residencial da Universidade de São Paulo ( CRUSP ) is a prefabricated student residence built in 1963 on the Armando de Salles Oliveira campus of the University of São Paulo .

The architects were Eduardo Kneese de Mello , Joel Ramalho Júnior and Sidney de Oliveira. In 1963 it was awarded the Grande Medalha de Ouro on the 12th Salão Paulista de Arte Moderna . During the military dictatorship , the structure of the ensemble was adapted to counter regime-critical movements that developed there.

Today the ensemble consists of 8 six-story buildings. It is bordered to the south by the Museu de Arte Contemporânea da Universidade de São Paulo (USP branch), to the east by the university's sports facilities, to the north by Avenida Professor Mello Moraes and to the west by the Praça do relógio (" Clock Square ").
