Connect6

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Connect6 is a modern abstract strategic board game for two people.

Connect6 was presented in 2005 by Prof. I-Chen Wu. The game was not patented to ensure its rapid distribution. It is similar to Go-Moku , but the players always bet two stones per turn, and to win you have to build a row of six stones.

regulate

  • The game is mostly played on a board of 19 × 19 points ( Go board), but other board sizes are also possible
  • the board is empty at the beginning and the parties (white and black) take turns betting. Black begins and places a black stone on one of the points, then the parties each place two stones of their color on unoccupied points
  • a party wins as soon as it has formed a seamless horizontal, vertical or diagonal row of six or more of its stones
  • if the board is full without either side being able to form such a row, the game is a tie
