Career

Kostick was born in West England in 1964; today he lives in Ireland. As a professor at Trinity College in Dublin , he teaches medieval history and has published several historical books and numerous essays on political and cultural topics. At the age of 19 he was the inventor of the world's first interactive fantasy role-playing game, Treasure Trap . For this event, interested people met at Peckforton Castle in Cheshire to participate in the event in disguise and he thought of various actions. However, this endeavor did not last long.

When he is not doing research or politics, he likes to dive into the world of online role-playing games. In his role-playing games he combines his preference for these tendencies. "Epic" is his first novel in which he leads the reader into a fantastic and adventurous world that is only accessible to people through a data helmet.
