Conte is a band from Siegburg that plays acoustic pop with German lyrics. It consists of the members Cirsten Gülker ( vocals ), Mathias Wünsche ( acoustic guitar ), Willi Palm ( acoustic bass ) and André Del Conte ( cajón , vocals).
Band history
Cirsten Gülker, Mathias Wünsche and André Del Conte rehearsed in this formation for the first time in April 2010. Unlike their previous band Nur Wir! limited the sound of their text-centric music to acoustic instruments from the start. Del Conte started out with bongos and later switched to a cajón. In October, Willi Palm joined them on the acoustic bass.
First appearances on a small scale followed with the highlight of a live performance as part of a broadcast by Deutschlandradio Kultur in May 2013. On March 6, 2015, her debut album Rosagrau was released on Timezone .
