Mathias Wishes (2012)

Mathias Wünsche (born September 14, 1957 in Cologne ) is a German writer , musician and composer .

Life

Wish studied social pedagogy and has been working in child and youth welfare in Cologne since 1993 .

He has been the author of the children's crime series Rea since the late 1990s and of the follow-up series Die Südstadtdetektiven since 2013 . In 2014 the psychological crime thriller Kölner Schatten was published , in 2015 A little man stands in the woods ... , the first case of his new crime figure Lou Parker . In 2016, his character Zara Zunder was part of the Loewe anthology When Sunday is ... 52 stories to be read aloud for children aged 4 and over.

Wish is a member of the Syndikat - authors' group of German-language crime literature .

As a musician , composer and lyricist , Mathias Wünsche released a children's CD in 2003 with the title Wir sind Kinder . In 2015 the adult CD Rosagrau by his band Conte was released .

Wish lives in Siegburg .
