The Million Faces is a collection of photos of people who gave their approval to the campaign with their image, as in a signature campaign. By June 26, 2006, 1 million people had had their picture taken for this. On that day the petition was also handed over to the Secretary General of the United Nations.

Proponents and their pictures are collected both on the Internet and at information booths.

Arms Trade Treaty

The main objective of the action was the implementation of a worldwide arms trade agreement, the Arms Trade Treaty . Numerous states, including the EU , have publicly given their approval for such an agreement. On April 2, 2013, with few exceptions, the UN states passed such an arms trade agreement.
