history
Controlware GmbH was founded in 1980 by the former managing director Helmut Wörner. The original business area was the development, manufacture and sale of high-speed modems. Today the company sees itself as one of the leading independent system integrators and managed service providers in Germany.

The company plans, delivers, maintains and operates IT infrastructures, IT security solutions and data centers or parts thereof on behalf of customers.
Controlware has offices in Berlin, Meerbusch, Hamburg, Hanover-Langenhagen, Ingolstadt, Kassel, Leipzig, Munich, Stuttgart and Wolfsburg (Weyhausen) as well as in Graz, Innsbruck, Vienna and Zurich. Controlware GmbH is part of a group of companies through Controlware Holding GmbH, which is organized as a foundation, which also includes Networkers AG in Hagen (IT services and consulting), Experteach GmbH in Dietzenbach (IT training and consulting) and Productware GmbH in Dietzenbach (development and contract manufacturing of electronic assemblies) belong.
