Great stone graves near Metzingen
The megalithic graves near Metzingen were two megalithic tombs of the Neolithic funnel cup culture near Metzingen , a district of Göhrde in the Lüchow-Dannenberg district ( Lower Saxony ). They were destroyed in the 19th century. According to Johann Karl Wächter , one of the graves was destroyed before 1841, while the second still existed at that time; At the end of the 19th century, Johannes Heinrich Müller and Jacobus Reimers also led the second grave when they had run out. The exact location of the two plants has not been recorded, and there is no information about the orientation, dimensions and type of grave.
