Cool Joke is a Japanese rock band that was formed in 2001.

The current line-up consists of singer Hiroya Ishikawa ( 石川 寛 也 , Ishikawa Hiroya ), guitarist Suguru Asabatake ( 麻 畠 卓 , Asabatake Suguru ) and drummer Hiroyuki Saitō ( 斉 藤 広 幸 , Saitō Hiroyuki ). In addition to Ishikawa, Asabatake and Saitō, the band was originally formed with bassist Keita Hayashi. Hayashi left the band in 2006.

First the group was signed to Sony Music Entertainment (Japan) s label The Music Council from around 2004 , but then the band switched to the indie label high numbers dream in 2006 . Their activities were initially limited to Fukui Prefecture . They are now performing all over Japan. The song UNDO is the third opening title of the anime Fullmetal Alchemist .
