The Copenhagen Towers are a Danish American football team from Gentofte . You are one of the most successful and traditional teams in Denmark.

history

The Towers were founded on August 20, 1990 by former players of the recently dissolved Copenhagen Vikings. Two years later, the Towers won their first national title and then dominated the Danish league with four championships in a row. The runner-up in 1996 was the last participation in the Mermaid Bowl for many years until the Towers were able to improve their number of Danish championships to six in 2013 and 2014.

Internationally, the Towers appeared in 1994 when they were able to prevail in the qualification of the European Football League and advanced to the quarter-finals. In the 2013 season they competed in the EFAF Cup and reached the semi-finals there. In 2014 and 2015, the Towers competed in the IFAF Europe Champions League .
