Coppernicus
Coppernicus refers to the astronomer Nikolaus Kopernikus , in the spelling that was advocated on the basis of handwritten signatures by Maximilian Curtze and the biographer Leopold Prowe , among others . Also Hermann Rauschning , also like the astronomer and Prowe born in Thorn, and Georg Hermanowski titled works in this notation.
