The Cora Cove is a small cove on the southeastern coast of Desolation Iceland in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It is located in the northwest part of Blythe Bay .
The name goes back to the British seal hunter George Powell (1794-1824), who visited this bay in 1821. It is named after the brig Cora from Liverpool , which sank in this bay the year before.
