Coralie Clément (born September 1, 1978 in Villefranche-sur-Saône as Coralie Biolay ) is a French singer.

biography

She comes from a family of musicians. Her father was a clarinetist , her brother Benjamin Biolay is also a singer and wrote for Henri Salvador , among others . She began to learn the violin at the age of six, but later gave up. Her musical role models are Françoise Hardy , Jane Birkin and Serge Gainsbourg .

She recorded her first album, which her brother wrote for her, while she was still studying history at university. She sang the theme song Dorénavant from the film L'Idole by Samantha Lang . Her song Lou was the theme song for a Volvo advertising campaign .

In October 2013 she published a children's audio book under her maiden name and together with the German-Danish designer Gesa Hansen under the title Iris a 3 ans . Her fourth album La belle Affaire was released again under her stage name.
