Corban Wynne Caspar Collins (born July 21, 1994 ) is an American basketball player. He has been playing for the Swedish first division club BC Luleå since 2018 .

career

During his school days, Collins, nicknamed "Buck", played basketball at the Arden Christian School, North Carolina, and at the  Massanutten Military Academy in Virginia . In 2012 he moved to Louisiana State University in the NCAA . There he was used in 27 games in the 2012/13 season, in which he scored an average of 2.6 points. After this season, he decided to change university and went to Morehead State University , had to sit out due to the transfer regulations of the NCAA during the 2013/14 season and then ran for the team until 2016. Collins played 60 encounters for "MSU" during this time and averaged 9.9 points, 3.2 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game.

At the end of his university days , Collins played for the University of Alabama team in the 2016/17 season , so was one of the protégés of coach Avery Johnson , who had gained NBA experience as a player and coach . Collins was one of the team's captains and was awarded the Coach Avery Award by Johnson at the end of the season for his attitude and dedication. He recorded an average of 7.0 points, 1.8 rebounds and 1.5 basket preparations per game (32 games).

Shortly before the start of the 2017/18 season, Collins was signed by the German club VfL Kirchheim Knights and began his career as a professional basketball player in the 2nd Bundesliga ProA . In the course of the 2017/18 season he scored 17.1 points per match and was the second best thrower in the main round of the 2nd Bundesliga ProA.

During the summer break of 2018, Collins moved to the Swedish first division club BC Luleå .
