Cord Naujokat
Cord Naujokat (born December 24, 1964 in Lüneburg ) is a German immunologist and oncologist . He is an adjunct professor for immunology at the medical faculty of Heidelberg University and a doctor for transfusion medicine .

After work on the role of the ubiquitin-proteasome system in cancer - and immune cells (2000-2009), and explored Naujokat described as of 2009 the impact and effects of the ionophore - antibiotic salinomycin at killing human cancer stem cells and implemented in 2009, together with Roman Steinhart, successfully used salinomycin for the first time in the therapy of patients with resistant and highly aggressive types of cancer. In 2011, Naujokat founded an international network for individualized oncology, which for the first time enables cancer patients to receive individual and tailored cancer combination therapy.
